The Association of Cajun Music Enthusiasts (ACME) is a Birmingham, Alabama-based group interested in the music and dance of Southwest Louisiana. Since 1992, ACME has sponsored dances featuring Louisiana's top Cajun and zydeco bands in the family-friendly atmosphere of the traditional "fais do-do." ACME members are part of a growing worldwide audience encouraging today's generation of Cajun and zydeco musicians to bring their vibrant, high-energy musical tradition to enthusiasts beyond the bayou.
